OS and User Interface

known in China for its contents, has tweaked the UI just a bit to give it the freshness that many users look for in a new smartphone.One of the three major elements of
its UI is the way to access Quick Settings.

To access Quick Setting in Le 2, just touch the “Recent” button located under the display. This brings up the recently closed apps as well as the Quick Setting bar,
music player controller and icons of other widgets like Remote controller, flashlight etc.

The Le 2 has a 3000 mAh battery. Since it has Android Marshmallow operating system, the phone comes with Doze mode. Besides, it has several battery Saver feature.
There is also smart battery feature that you can turn on specific apps. There is also provision for schedule power on and off feature.

Microsoft launched cheapest smartphone lumia 430 priced at Rs 5,299 to enter the budget smartphone market in India.

Lumia runs the latest Windows Phone 8.1 software, but will be upgradeable to Windows 10.

The device sports a 4-inch WVGA LCD display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution, and pixel density that goes all the way up to 235ppi. It is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, and coupled with 1GB RAM. The device also packs in Microsoft Office, Skype and OneDrive.

It comes with an internal storage of 8GB that is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. On the camera front, it gets 2MP fixed-focus rear snapper and a 0.3MP front-facing camera.

The connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Luia 430 comes dipped in Bright orange and black. A 1,500mAh replaceable battery completes the package.

Lenovo’s latest budget 4G smartphone, the A6000, is made available to purchase on Wednesday in its second flash sale, and with double the units that were offered last time.

20,000 Lenovo A6000 (First Impressions) will be available for purchase on Flipkart. Like last time, the sale will commence at 2pm IST for registered users.

The first flash sale of Lenovo A6000 was held on January 28, where the company claimed to have seen 10,000 units go out of stock in just two seconds. Notably, Lenovo had ahead of the first sale not revealed the total number of units that would be available.

The Lenovo A6000 is compatible with the Band 3 and Band 40 (TDD-LTE) 4G networks used in India. It features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display, which is smaller than the 5.5-inch display on both Micromax’s Yu Yureka and Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4G. The dual-SIM smartphone supports Micro-SIM cards.

The A6000 is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Android 4.4 KitKat-based smartphone runs Lenovo’s Vibe UI 2.0 skin on top, and bears 8GB of built-in storage with no word on expandability.

An Android 5.0 Lollipop update has been promised, but no time-frame announced. Other specifications include an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash; a 2-megapixel front camera; apart from a 2300mAh battery rated to deliver up to 13 hours of talk time and up to 264 hours of standby time on 3G networks. The Lenovo A6000 measures 141x70x8.2mm and weighs 128 grams.
